Message	I got pulled over in my friend's Liberty in VA. We had a radar detector in the glovebox since he left the power cord at his house. Officer saw it when said friend reached in the glovebox to grab the documents and asked to see it. Felt if it was warm or not to determine if we were lying about not using it. So if s/he sees you stashing it, they could ask to see it. If it's warm most likely you will get whatever the ticket is. I forget what he said it was though Of course if they don't see you stashing it, you'll probably be ok if it's nowhere visible. Highway cops are usually very good at noticing small things like that though
